Understanding Communications

An organization communicates in many ways. Some communications are planned and implemented directly by the organisation's professionals. Others are delivered by staff through their everyday interactions, and through agents and distributors, contractors and subcontractors, and family and friends of employees. Understanding Communications

While planned, targeted communications may account for only a small part of the total, they are key. As well as reaching target audiences, they shape the messages that will be delivered indirectly through other staff and third parties.
