CSR Analyzer (continued)

There are two steps in the CSR Analyzer process:

  1. The first step is a quantitative, internet-based survey of the readership. The online survey is interactive, and whenever possible uses excerpts from the company's CSR report to prompt feedback on such things as readability, user-friendliness, and the relevance of its content.

  2. Once the quantitative survey has been completed and analyzed, GlobeScan's experienced interviewing team then conducts in-depth interviews with a smaller sample of key stakeholders about the CSR report. These conversations delve into select topics from the quantitative survey and provide deeper insights, for example, into why some aspects of the report are more compelling than others. The qualitative interviews provide an opportunity for respondents to generate new ideas for improving the report.

By the end of the process, a company will obtain:

  • An external performance review of its CSR report, from a diverse audience.
  • Feedback and advice from key stakeholders that can inform the content and objectives of future reports.
  • Valuable information required to expand or tailor its CSR program, by using the interview process to solicit suggestions and ideas about the CSR initiatives currently in place.
  • Improved stakeholder awareness of and engagement with its CSR program, resulting in improved opinions of the company.
