Environmental Monitor polling results for Canada are based on telephone interviews with a random (RDD) sample of 2,006 Canadians aged 18+ conducted from July 11–30, 2007. The margin of error for the sample weighted down to 1,505 is ±2.5%, 19 times out of 20.

The global data quoted in this release originates from GlobeScan’s ongoing polling. In total 23,193 citizens in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, Philippines, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Turkey, and the United States were interviewed between May 29 and July 26, 2007. In eight of the 22 countries, the sample was limited to major urban areas. The margin of error per country ranges from +/-2.4 to 3.5 percent, 19 times out of 20.
